Corte Albertina

Among the historic walls of the monumental complex commissioned by King Carlo Alberto of Savoy in the first half of the nineteenth century, is the Agricultural Estate Corte Albertina. Once used as a center for agricultural production and experimentation, today it is home to a welcoming 3-star hotel with 25 rooms that preserve the charm of the ancient Savoy residence, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Between art, culture and territory

Thanks to careful restoration work begun in the early 2000s, the historic agricultural headquarters of the Savoy family has been transformed into a multidisciplinary center, which includes the Albergo dell’Agenzia, the Ristorante Garden, the Banca del Vino, the University of Gastronomic Sciences and, just 500 meters away from these facilities, the Corte Albertina Hotel. The restoration project of the Agenzia, originated from an idea of the founder of Slow Food Italia, Carlo Petrini, has brilliantly brought the history of Pollenzo to life, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the fruit of Roman excavations, the majestic neo-Gothic walls and the enchanting Savoy atmosphere.

The charm of history combined with modern comforts

The facility of Corte Albertina, between the neo-Gothic square of Pollenzo and the court of the ancient royal agricultural estate, offers all guests beautiful views and allows you to share some outdoor spaces with the University of Gastronomic Sciences, a university attended by students from all over the world. Immersed in this historic dimension, you can enjoy all the modern comforts in a facility that is an ideal starting point to discover Slow Food’s hospitality, visit extraordinary hills of vineyards, explore wonderful landscapes and enjoy traditional foods.
